SAI sacks Greco-Roman coach for non-performance

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) today announced that it has relieved Georgian wrestling coach Temo Kazarashvili for non-performance as none of the Greco-Roman wrestlers could qualify for the Tokyo Games. India had hired Kazarashvili in February 2019.

Manika agrees to attend national camp

Indian table tennis player Manika Batra has agreed to join the national camp in Sonepat to train with mixed doubles partner and veteran Sharath Kamal. Earlier, both Manika and G Sathiyan had expressed their unavailability to attend the camp, preferring to continue training with their coaches.
