Panamdeep Singh came up with a brilliant unbeaten 107 off 54 balls to help Satluj XI register a eight-wicket win over Beas XI in the opening match of the Divyang IPL , at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium. Batting first, Beas XI posted 159/5 in allotted 15 overs with the help of Viraj (52 off 22 balls), Mohd Sahaib (45) and Prithvi (15 off 12 balls). S Srivastava claimed 2/15 to remain the best bowler for the side, while Islam and Y Singh took one wicket each. In reply, Panamdeep smashed a brilliant ton to ensure an easy win. His innings was supported by Shubhendra Kumar (25).Anil Kanwar and Surinder Singh took one wicket each for the bowling side. In the second match, Ravi XI also logged a eight-wicket victory over AICAD. After put in to bat first, AICAD posted 78/6 in 15 overs. Indranil (48 off 48 balls) was the only notable scorer for the side, while Tuhid Ali (6) and Tuleshwar (5) were the other contributors in the total. Gurpreet Singh claimed a five-wicket haul, while Manav claimed one for the bowling side. In reply, Ravi X lads posted 81/2 in 8 overs with the help of Gurpreet (25), Vicky Singh (23) and Ajay Kumar (16). Subin claimed both the wickets for the bowling side. The third match between Silent Warriors and Deaf Warriors was washed away by the rain. Silent Warriors had posted 130/5 in 15 overs before the rain washed away the tie. Harshal (46), Lucky Singh (36) and Umar (12) were the three main scorers for the side.
