Rhythm, Ujjwal bring India 1st gold
Cairo, January 27
India picked up their first gold medal of the ISSF World Cup here today when Rhythm Sangwan and Ujjwal combined to defeat the Armenians Elmira Karapetyan and Benik Khlghatyan 17-7 in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
Indian shooters have so far won one gold and two silver medals here.
Arjun Babuta and Sonam Uttam Maskar won silver in the 10m air rifle mixed team event. Anuradha Devi had opened the account with a silver in the 10m air pistol on Friday. Rhythm and Ujjwal finished second in qualifying with a total score of 580.
