Superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has moved into an isolated villa on the island of Madeira near the quiet fishing village of Canical, according to media reports.

Unlike the modest homes of his commoner fans, Ronaldo’s Covid-19 retreat is a breathtaking luxury.

The Juventus superstar decided to leave his £7 million luxury apartment in Funchal and relocate his partner Georgina Rodriguez along with his four kids.

The 35-year-old has now rented the villa for £3,500 per week. And he’s not going to lack any luxury during the coronavirus lockdown. The amenities in his villa include an Olympic-sized swimming pool, top-floor games room with a snooker table, and six bedrooms — not a bad place to stay indoors. — Agencies
