Gaganjeet Bhullar, who was Tied-46th after Round 2, had three bogeys and two birdies in his 70, dropping to Tied-50th. Bopanna-Shapovalov, Nagal lose

New Delhi: India’s Sumit Nagal went down to top seed Norbert Gombos in the quarterfinals of the Prague Challenger while Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov fought hard before losing in three sets to Alexander Zverev and Tim Puetz in the men’s doubles quarterfinals of the Madrid Open. Nagal, the eight seed, lost 4-6 2-6 to Gombos at the claycourt Challenger in Prague. Bopanna and Shapovalov went down 6-4 3-6 10-5 to Zverev and Puetz in Madrid. PTI
