A video of India’s 1983 World Cup cricketing stars shaking a leg with their spouses at a private party has gone viral on social media.
Shared on Instagram by a Delhi-based sports journalist, the video begins with Kapil Dev, who captained India to its first World Cup cricket victory in 1983, dancing with his wife Romi Bhatia to the tunes of Hindi song ‘Sharabi aanken jo teri dekhi’.
The next to follow is Madan Lal, another star of India’s historic win that not only boosted globally the country’s prospects in cricket but also in other games.
