Following the suicide of IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, numerous figures visited his wife, IAS officer Amneet P Kumar, to offer condolences. These included the Chief Minister, other politicians, and high-ranking state bureaucrats.
There are 15 serving and retired IAS and IPS officers mentioned in the suicide note
'The decision of the trial court to proceed with framing of chargesheet against accused, except those co-accused qua whom proceedings have been stayed by Supreme Court, is segregation/splitting up of trial
