In an exclusive interview, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar was asked to choose between dining with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un or billionaire George Soros. His prompt reply, “I think it’s Navratri, I am fasting,” left the audience cheering.

The viral clip showcased Jaishankar’s trademark wit, earning him praise and admiration on social media. Netizens hailed him as “Chad”, “Sigma”, and “King” for his savvy response.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
