Chandigarh, August 8

Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Taking to X, Nagarjuna Akkineni wrote: "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m. We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family."

Rumours about the actors dating made the rounds on social media after they were spotted at a restaurant in London in 2022. They were also seen vacationing in Europe earlier this year.

Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They got married in 2017, and in 2021, the two announced their separation via a post on social media.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
