Punjab police replied the grievance which has left twitterati in splits. Police firstly questioned the man’s expectation while sending unwarranted message to the women and later condemned the act of man who had beaten him saying he should have rather reported to police and latter would have served the case under requisite sections. Police later said both offences, complainant sending message to accused’s wife and accused beating up the man for the act, will be taken care of as per law.
Not sure what you were expecting on your unwarranted message to a woman, but they should not have beaten you up. They should have reported you to us and we would have served you right under right sections of law.
Both these offences will be duly taken care of as per law! https://t.co/qGmXNvubcO
