Joe Biden’s latest faux pas triggers meme fest, fuels laughter burst after handshake with ‘invisible person'

Ever since taking over as US president, Joe Biden has been inviting smirk from his detractors over continued faux pas. From referring Kamala Harris as first lady to calling Michelle Obama as vice President, Biden seems to have been enmeshed in such ‘awkward moments.’

In the latest viral video, the 79-year-old President can be seen shaking his hand with an invisible person after his speech at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro. Biden can also be seen roaming around confused on stage after the act.

After witnessing the gaffe, Netizens have flooded social media with reactions. While some were sympathetic to Biden’s act, many called it embarrassing. There were few who started a meme fest as well.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
