Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to share an edited picture showing the “future of UK PM’s residence”. This meme is without doubt a proud moment for every Indian.

“The future of 10 Downing Street? The famed British humour is now laced with Desi humour,” Mahindra wrote.

Mahindra shared the picture as Rishi Sunak, who has Indian roots, is one of the contenders for UK Prime Minister’s post.

Sunak is one among the eight candidates competing to replace Boris Johnson as prime minister and leader of the Conservative Party.

Former British finance minister Rishi Sunak said he would run the economy like Margaret Thatcher, the former Conservative prime minister, if he becomes the next prime minister of the United Kingdom, The Telegraph reported.

“We will cut taxes and we will do it responsibly. That’s my economic approach. I would describe it as common sense Thatcherism. I believe that’s what she would have done,” Sunak told the paper.
