In a video shot from the backseat of their school bus, three Bengaluru schoolgirls are putting a harsh spotlight on the city's crumbling infrastructure — and it's a wake-up call nobody can ignore!

The one-minute clip shows the girls describing their daily ordeal navigating roads filled with potholes, turning simple commutes into time-sucking ordeals lasting up to two hours!

"We live around 14 km away from school. And in the morning...", one girl starts, only for the bus to jolt severely into a pothole, shaking their camera. "I promise I didn't fake that. These are actually the roads of Bangalore," she says.

The girls paint a picture of their struggles: late nights due to traffic, sacrificed extracurriculars, squeezed study time, emotional strain, exhaustion and even physical injuries from the relentless bumps. "Something has to change. Please help us. This cannot be the new normal," one girl pleads.

Earlier this week, a school bus carrying 20 students nearly toppled after hitting a pothole. Fortunately, the kids narrowly escaped through the back door.
