Chandigarh woman proposes to boyfriend mid-air on IndiGo flight, wins hearts online

A woman from Chandigarh recently surprised her boyfriend by proposing to him during an IndiGo flight.

The romantic gesture has gone viral on social media since being shared on Instagram by Aishwarya Bansal, who decided to take her proposal to new heights—quite literally.

In the video, Aishwarya and her boyfriend Amulya Goyal can be seen boarding the flight. Moments later, the video cuts to her walking towards him, with the flight attendant making a special announcement for the couple. Aishwarya, then goes down on one knee and proposes to her boyfriend in the middle of the cabin.

In her Instagram post, she wrote, ‘Omg, the way I thought it was better than that. I wanted to surprise him in some unique way, and randomly, this idea came to my mind. I was not even sure if the crew would allow it or not, but now you know what happened.’

The video was shared just a day ago. Since then, it has garnered over 4.9 million views and over 3,34,000 likes. Many comments are pouring in. IndiGo also congratulated the couple on their engagement. ‘Many Many Congratulations! For your engagement, May god bless you both with lots of love, Happiness and togetherness,’ the airline commented.

‘Manifesting the samee. This is the cutesttt,’ wrote one user. Another asked, ‘Please, can you help me how you requested IndiGo to do this? I’m excited to know the process behind this.’
