‘God is real’: Harvard astrophysicist claims with Mathematical derivations

Malaysian astrophysicist Willie Soon at Harvard University argued that God is “real,” citing certain mathematical derivations and scientific discoveries that, in his view, defy complete explanation. He believes that at times, humans must submit to natural forces and allow them to guide and illuminate life.

In an interview on the Tucker Carlson Network in 2024, Soon referenced British physicist Paul Dirac, who predicted the existence of “antimatter” in 1928, specifically, a counterpart to the electron. In 1932, Carl Anderson discovered the positron, a particle with the same mass as an electron but with a positive charge. Soon described this as “miraculous,” emphasising Dirac’s ability to predict a physical reality before any experimental validation.

He also touched on complex mathematical concepts, such as closed curvature in spacetime without gravity, a topic that has puzzled scientists for decades. While Soon did not provide specific examples in his interview, historical studies have explored such phenomena extensively:

Soon concluded his discussion by saying, “There are many incidents and examples like this. Sometimes we have to bow down, take a deep breath, and perhaps allow ever-present forces to illuminate our lives. God has given us light. All we have to do is follow the light.”
