Harbhajan Singh's bitter online spat with X user over 'Khalistan murdabad' provocation

Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has entered in a bitter spat with a user on the social media platform X.

The leg-spinner was upset after the X handle named "Randomsena" questioned his patriotism, daring him to say "Khalistan murdabad."

Harbhajan, responding to alleged abuse in Hindi by the account, declared the user "mentally unfit". In response, the user demanded Harbhajan say "Khalistan murdabad".

The online clash began with the X user sharing an Instagram story by Harbhajan, urging him to say "Khalistan murdabad" and encouraging others to keep retweeting until the former cricketer responded.

The user then accused Harbhajan of supporting Pakistan and again demanded he say "Khalistan Murdabad."

The X user, identified as Abhishek Singh from Bihar, reportedly earned Rs 50,000 per month but quit his job to engage in what he describes as "raids”, reports freepressjournal.

He doesn't work for any law enforcement agency and primarily targets individuals perceived to have offended Hindu gods or Hindus, encouraging police to arrest them.

After his Instagram account was suspended, he tagged Union Minister Anurag Thakur seeking intervention. His account was created in February 2020, during the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests, and he reportedly made several provocative posts on social media.
