After a successful stint as rugged actor Ajay Talvar in Aryan Khan’s “The B***ds of Bollywood”, Bobby Deol opened up about his career and family in an interview with Radio Nasha, specifically delving into what his sons Aryaman and Dharam are up to.

His sons’ paths are wildly different from each other. Deol said, “I wanted my sons to study, my younger son left studies after 12th standard, but my elder son was selected in all the colleges that he applied to. And he got into NYU Stern School of Business. I didn’t know about the college but when I used to tell people that my son studies in that college, people would tell me, ‘Wow, it’s a great college.’ I was like okay. I didn’t know that.”

Bobby revealed that his elder son Aryaman, who has already drawn attention within the industry, is receiving film offers but is in no hurry to step into acting. “He is working, he is training. There are a lot of offers coming in, but I don’t want to throw him into the middle of the ocean without knowing how to swim,” Bobby told Times Now. “I want him to first understand the art and then take his first step. So, he is working on himself.”

He went on to say that both his sons are interested in pursuing careers in film, but he wants them to be fully prepared for the expectations that come with being star kids. Drawing a comparison, he mentioned Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, who recently debuted as a director. “I know how difficult it is, even being from the industry, to be superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son—the kind of pressure he has. If he is trying to do something as challenging as directing, then I have to be there for him,” Bobby said.
