'I am making you ready...': Yuvraj Singh's confident prediction about Abhishek Sharma's future

Abhishek would often attend training camps at Yuvraj's residence, alongside fellow cricketers Shubman Gill, Prabhsimran and Anmolpreet. These sessions were instrumental in honing Abhishek's skills, particularly his batting technique and power-hitting.

During one such camp, Abhishek confided in Yuvraj about his struggles to find consistency in the IPL and make it to the playing XI. Feeling left behind, Abhishek was on the verge of losing hope.

However, Yuvraj's words of wisdom changed everything: "I am not preparing you for the state or the IPL or even to get a cap for India. I am making you ready to win games for India. Write this, and it will happen in the next two to three years." This conversation marked a turning point in Abhishek's career, and he soon began to realise his true potential.

The southpaw revealed how Yuvraj would analyse his batting by watching videos and taking notes, which helped him improve his technique and power-hitting.
