A travel influencer's recent experience with Atlys, an Indian visa service provider, has sparked outrage and concern among travelers.

Akash Chaudhary shared his disturbing encounter on Instagram with the caption ‘Don’t do this Mistake Ever!’, detailing how Atlys's promise of timely visa approvals turned into a costly nightmare.

Akash applied for a Mongolian visa through Atlys, relying on their guarantee of approval within three days. However, his application dragged on for 15 days, and to his horror, the issued visa contained an error in his passport number. This mistake could have led to detention and deportation at the Mongolian border. Akash claimed that the ordeal cost him valuable time, money due to cancelled tickets and immense stress.

Atlys apologised for the inconvenience, stating they had issued the correct visa on September 29 and were assisting Akash to ensure a smooth exit from China. Akash later updated that he was in touch with the team to resolve the situation.

“Right said! My case was pending from last 70 days and then I posted on linkedin about them and they solved my problem in 10 mints,” a user shared.

Another wrote, “I have heard a lot negative reviews about this company. Thanks for reminding again.”
