Internship gone wrong? Indian woman's 2-day stay ends in sudden firing

Kaajal Tekwani, an Indian woman, has gone viral on social media after sharing her shocking experience of being fired from a German startup just two days into her internship. Tekwani relocated from Berlin to Munich for the role, having gone through multiple interview rounds, completed a task to the company's satisfaction, and even turned down other offers.

She shared the video on Instagram.

Tekwani's troubles began when the founder criticised her attitude, claiming she lacked a certain "fire" needed for the role.

According to Tekwani, the reasons cited for her dismissal were:

• Not a team fit: The company felt she didn't mesh well with the team.
• Lack of senior knowledge and expertise: They expected someone more experienced, despite knowing her level during the interview process.
• Punctuality issues: Being late on her second day due to an eye infection, which she had informed her team about.

After returning to Berlin, Tekwani is cautioning others to be wary of similar opportunities. She advises against relocating immediately for a startup, especially if the pay is low and red flags are apparent from the start. "Don't do this; it's not worth the risk," she warns.
