In a hilarious mix-up, the DJ at Dubai International Cricket Stadium played 'Jalebi Baby' by Jason Derulo x Tesher instead of Pakistan's national anthem, 'Pak Sarzamin Shad Bad', before the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 match on September 14.

Pakistan players, hands on hearts, were left baffled and irritated by the unexpected track swap. Thankfully, the mistake was quickly corrected, but the Internet had already caught the slip-up!

Tesher, the Canadian singer of Indian origin behind 'Jalebi Baby', had a good laugh about it, posting on Instagram, "When I made Jalebi Baby I knew it was an anthem... but this is not what I had in mind LOLLLLL".

“Anthem was like Jalebi Baby, Batting was like Jalebi Baby, Bowling was like Jalebi Baby, The scorecard was sweeter than Jalebi Baby,” read a comment.

Another user wrote, “Bro , you made it their national anthem , you're the og.”

This isn't the first time Pakistan's faced a national anthem mix-up - recall the Champions Trophy blunder where India's anthem played in Lahore, and Australia's anthem mistake with 'Jana Gana Mana' in an England-Australia match.
