An incident has been reported from Chennai’s Chromepet where an agitated lover climbed a high-tension electricity transmission tower demanding that he be married to his girlfriend.
As per the report of Mirror Now, the 19-year-old youth, Krishna, orchestrated a high voltage drama for almost 2 hours to persuade his 15-year-old girlfriend to marry him.
As per police, Krishna, a house painter by profession proposed his girlfriend for marriage which latter turned down. Heart-broken lover after girl’s reluctance decided to climb 80-feet-high electric tower in agitation.

The administration had to cut power supply across tower to prevent youth from being electrocuted.
Upon regular insists and assurances of marriage, the youth complied with the request of police and agreed to climb down.
He, however, was later booked and sent to jail by court.
