Shantanu Goel, a Bengaluru-based techie shared via his X, a pothole tracker created by a user probably named dev.

“Someone created https://blr-potholes.pages.dev with the intent to make the roads safer in Bengaluru. I hope they are not persecuted by the machinery instead,” he wrote in the caption.

Internet is appreciating this initiation and many thanked the creator for easing their everyday struggle that comes along the crumbling roads of Bengaluru.

“Whoever made this - Give him Z security asap,” said a user. “Brilliant,” said another.

X users also criticised government for the potholes. “When the government fails to fulfil its responsibilities, it falls on the citizens to step in and take action,” read a comment. While another said, “Would love for a weekly report to be sent to the local municipal offices.”
