The incident occurred near Chuharpur village when Shad, a relative of the groom from Kishangarh Bas town, was riding pillion on a motorcycle en route to Haryana.

The cash garland, rented specifically for the occasion, was made from approximately 3,000 notes of Rs 500 each. The garland was meant to honour the groom, a popular wedding tradition.

According to police, as the duo made their way back, a speeding car rammed their bike, forcing them to stop. The assailants then threatened Shad with a gun and forcibly snatched the garland before fleeing the scene. Shad was also hit on the head, resulting in injuries.
