Mumbai couple’s not so decent stunt on moving scooter sparks outrage, viral video calls for action

In a shocking incident, a video of a young couple engaging in a dangerous public display of affection on a speeding scooter in Bandra Reclamation area has gone viral on social media. The couple, who were riding without helmets, has prompted widespread condemnation for their irresponsible behaviour, leading to demands for action from the Mumbai Traffic Police.

According to the video shared by Bandra Buzz on X, the couple were seated facing each other on a scooter, draped in a shawl. Ignoring basic safety protocols, the duo tightly hugged each other while navigating the busy roads of Mumbai.

Mumbai Traffic Police has been urged to take swift action against the couple, whose actions not only pose a threat to their safety, but also endanger the lives of other road users.

Commenting on the video, social media users have condemned the couple for what they describe as ‘stupidity at its best’. Many have expressed frustration, questioning whether there are apps that allow individuals to report traffic violations or incidents of irresponsible behaviour on the road.
