An unfiltered opinion of Mumbai influencer Sakshi Shivdasani on vada pav during a show ‘Having Said That’, initiated a heated debate among netizens. The video is doing the rounds on the internet wherein Shivdasani can be heard saying, “I think Vada Pav is trash. Like I hate Vada Pav from the bottom of my heart! It’s just nostalgia. There’s no way you think boiled potatoes and bread make sense.”

While a segment of viewers agreed with her, the other trolled her for her South Bombay accent. Among the mixed responses received from viewers, one was, “Some people physically live in India but in their mind they think they’re living in the US and they act like this too.” Another user said, “I so agree with her last point. Chutney is bae.”

The beloved street food of Mumbai and an ‘iconic snack’ probably deserved a little more respect from a Mumbaikar.
