Palash Muchhal makes first public appearance after wedding delay with Smriti Mandhana

Music composer Palash Muchhal stepped out publicly for the first time since his recent health scare and the unexpected postponement of his wedding to cricketer Smriti Mandhana.

Amid intense speculation about alleged tensions in their relationship, Palash maintained a low profile but did not avoid the paparazzi.

Seen at Mumbai airport with family

On Monday, Palash was spotted at the airport alongside his mother, Amita Muchhal, and other family members. Multiple videos from the outing have surfaced online.

Dressed in an all-black outfit—pajamas, shirt and jacket—Palash was seen carrying a book as he exited the airport, accompanied by security staff. His mother was also filmed interacting warmly with someone who touched her feet in greeting.

Despite keeping a subdued demeanour, Palash did not attempt to dodge photographers as he made his way to his vehicle. This marks his first public appearance since the wedding delay and his subsequent hospitalisation.

Health scare and postponed wedding

Palash and Smriti were scheduled to get married on November 23, but celebrations were abruptly paused following a medical emergency involving Smriti’s father. Concerns intensified when Palash himself was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai shortly after.

Initially treated at a hospital in Sangli for reported symptoms, Palash was later shifted to Mumbai when his condition did not improve.

According to Dr Dipendra Tripathi, one of the doctors attending to him, Palash’s condition seemed “stress-related rather than a serious cardiac issue.”

Rumours and silence from the couple

Since the postponement, social media has been rife with unverified speculation, including rumours of infidelity. However, neither Palash nor Smriti has made any public statement addressing the claims.
