Indian-German comedian Akshay has taken the Internet by storm with his hilarious take on corporate culture in Germany. Through his sharp and witty observations, Akshay sheds light on the nuances of working in a German office, especially as an immigrant employee.

He pokes fun at the challenges of making friends in the office, saying, "German corporate is where immigrants are trying to make friends with Germans, while Germans are also trying to make friends with Germans."

He went on to talk about lunchtime in the office: "They microwave their food ...... and your self-esteem."

And if this wasn’t enough, "To get a printout at a German office, you need patience, grief, your birth certificate and all five stages of IT support," he jokes, exaggerating the complexities of office procedures.

Akshay shares a personal anecdote about cracking a joke in a team meeting: "I once cracked a joke in a team meeting. They scheduled a session about tone and professionalism."

He also reveals that at a Christmas party once, he was asked if he was a new intern – after working at the company for three years!

Akshay's humour, rooted in real-life experiences, has drawn mixed response from fellow immigrants and professionals navigating the complexities of corporate Germany.

“They microwave their food and your self-esteem...sounds about right to me,” a user commented.

Another wrote, “Sounds like paradise for introverts like me,” while a third reacted, “I’m German and I struggle with Germans.”

A fourth posted, "As a German I enjoy having lunch by myself. I want to eat in peace and not gossip."
