Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has yet again made a controversial statement regarding Bollywood industry’s culture and what needs to be changed. On his Twitter, he indirectly blames Bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for the downfall of the film industry.

The Kashmir Files director takes a dig at Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan and wrote, “As long as these King, Badshah and Sultan remain in Bollywood, Hindi cinema will continue to sink. If you make it a people’s industry with the help of people’s stories, then only it will be able to lead the global film industry. This is a fact.”

Vivek wrote this while retweeting a BBC News (World) post that reads, “Why Shah Rukh Khan is still king of Bollywood?”
