US President Donald Trump addressed the Israeli parliament on Monday, hours after Hamas released 20 living hostages from Gaza and Israel began releasing nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners as part of a cease-fire deal brokered in part by the US.

During his speech, two left-wing lawmakers, Aymen Odeh and Ofer Cassif, belonging to a joint Palestinian-Israeli political party, were ejected from parliament for displaying signs that read "Recognize Palestine".

The security personnel swiftly intervened, taking the lawmakers out while Trump stood at the podium, observing the proceedings.
