At least 20 people drowned while dozens more were feared missing after an engine-run passenger boat capsized at the Titash river in central Brahmanbaria on Friday, officials said.

“We have so far retrieved 20 bodies… the search for more is underway,” Brahmanbaria’s Deputy Commissioner Hayat-Ud-Doula Khan told newsmen at the scene.— PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
