Earlier on Thursday, Trump said that a phone call Putin resulted in no progress at all on efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

He also stated that his administration later in the day will begin sending letters to 10 to 12 countries informing them of the tariff rate their products will face in the United States.

The US President went on to say that it would probably be known in 24 hours how Palestinian militant group Hamas would respond to a proposal for a ceasefire with Israel in Gaza.
