NASA spacecraft begins trip home with asteroid rubble

Cape Canaveral (US): With rubble from an asteroid tucked inside, a NASA spacecraft fired its engines and began the long journey back to Earth on Monday, leaving the ancient space rock in its rearview mirror. The trip home for the robotic prospector, Osiris-Rex, will take two years.

Bahrain prince-led team conquers Mt Everest

Kathmandu: A 16-member Bahrain Royal Guard team led by Prince Mohammed Hamad Mohammed Al Khalifa on Tuesday became the first international team to conquer the new altitude of Mount Everest. The Bahrain Royal Guard team successfully reached the peak of Mt Everest early Tuesday morning. PTI
