Three persons, including a police officer, were wounded and a suspect was killed in a shooting connected to a reported domestic disturbance in Indianapolis, the authorities said.

The police said the suspect fired at officers. With an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.— AP

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
