PM Narendra Modi today conveyed to his Myanmar counterpart General Min Aung Hlaing, that India was ready to deploy more material assistance and resources if required.

Modi and the Hliang — who is also the Chairman of State Administration Council of Myanmar — met of the sidelines of the BIMSTEC summit in Bangkok.

The Quad partners — India, US, Japan and Australia — in a statement on Friday committed to provide assistance at a combined value of over $20 million to Myanmar.
