The UK government has slammed rapper Nicki Minaj for claiming that her Trinidad cousin’s friend “became impotent” and his testicles were “swollen” after taking the Covid-19 vaccine.

Nicki Minaj, who has more than 22 million followers on Twitter, wrote: “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied”.

UK government’s Chief Medical Advisor Chris Witty said “the singer’s claims were “untrue”.

He said that the claim was designed to “scare” people, adding that the rapper should be “ashamed” of herself for “peddling untruths” on social media. Also, British Boris Johnsons, thrashed the claims on TV.

Following which, Nicki sent him a voice message on twitter.

Recently, the rapper skipped the Met Gala — one of the most high-profile social events of the year — because she was not vaccinated.

In another tweet, the 10-time Grammy nominee told her fans she was avoiding public events because she has a new baby at home.
