Chandigarh, June 16

A Swedish inventor has come up with a headgear to help with social distancing. Hakan Lidbo of Stockholm has made a helmet that sounds an alarm whenever people come within 1.5 metres of the wearer to remind them to keep their distance.

“One of the many things I have done is the corona hat. It is a very simple device that I put together with stuff that I picked up on sale. It will make sure that you keep your recommended safety distance from your fellow citizens,” Lidbo said.

Lidbo made the ‘corona hat’ with a sensor he found on sale, a globe that he cut in half and some old batteries from a busted robot vacuum cleaner.
