Imagine if you were asked to pay for eating extra on a wedding. This is exactly what happened when a couple asked the guests to pay £3.66 (roughly Rs 367) extra for a second slice of cake.

A wedding guest shared his ordeal on Reddit, revealed how he was asked to pay extra money just because he ate an additional piece of cake. The guest, believed to be from the UK, said he was shocked to receive the demand from the bride via text, just days after the wedding.

The user shared the screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with the couple, whose wedding he attended, about paying for an extra slice of cake.

How did they find out about this indulgence on the guest’s part, you ask?

Well, the couple went through the CCTV footage of the party to identify “gluttony” guests and make them pay for it. In the sub-Reddit ‘Weddingshaming’, the user Original Poster (OP) wrote: “I paid for the first slice after it was announced on the day we’d be helping to pay for their cake!! Apparently didn’t count for the second.”

However, as always, netizens found the demand hilarious.
