Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Kejriwal in a post on X said, “The country’s most capable education minister, Manish Sisodia, worked to provide good schools and excellent education to the children of the poor. The BJP-led Central Government implicated him in a fake case and sent him to jail. It has been a complete year today.”

“Manish is an inspiration to the entire AAP and every true Indian who is fighting these people without breaking down. Today, we all went to Rajghat and offered flowers to Bapu and prayed that he may give more courage to Manish in this fight against dictatorship and injustice,” he wrote in the post.

AAP senior leaders Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj said the architect of the turnaround of education in Delhi Government schools is being punished for his contribution to better the future of lakhs of students. She added that today, lakhs of children in Delhi had access to better education and a better future owing to Sisodia.

It was because of Kejriwal and Sisodia’s good work that the BJP-led Centre unleashed all its agencies on the AAP and the Kejriwal government. “It has been two years since the investigation into this so-called liquor scam began. In these two years, more than 500 officials from the CBI and ED were employed in this investigation. In the span of two years, they raided houses, villages, bank lockers and even the homes of every AAP leader, but they could not recover even a single penny,” she said.
