Faridkot, July 22

The bodies of four members of a family that had gone missing since June were found in a car from the Sirhind feeder canal in Faridkot on Friday morning.

Bharamjit Singh, wife Rupinder Kaur, their 13-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son were missing for their house at Bhan Singh Colony in Faridkot for more than a month.

The bodies were found in a car at the bottom of the canal.

The cause of the death is being investigated.

The car was visible on Friday after the water level in the canal was lowered.

The family were last seen at their house on June 11.

After a complaint by Bharamjit Singh’s father-in-law, a case was registered against unidentified people at the Faridkot police station.
