Bus catches fire near Hanumangarh, passengers safe
A private bus traveling from Agra to Sriganganagar caught fire near Bhadra, near Hanumangarh, early today. The bus was completely destroyed by the flames, but fortunately, no casualties were reported. According to sources, the bus, operated by Vijay Transport Company, was en route to Bhadra Bus Stand when a sudden explosion occurred around 3:20 am. The driver quickly stopped the bus and evacuated all passengers safely. Soon after, flames erupted from the vehicle, engulfing it in fire. Local police and the Municipal Council's fire brigade responded promptly and controlled the fire after a lot of efforts.
The luggage in the bus's rear section was completely burned and nearby roadside kiosks were also damaged by the fire. Most passengers continued their journey by boarding other available transport within half an hour. However, some passengers were shaken by the loss of their belongings. According to sources, the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
