New Delhi: AirAsia India on Friday announced that it was offering 50,000 seats without base fares to the armed forces personnel for travel between September 25 and December 31. Announcing this on the eve of 74th Independence Day, the airlines, in an official release, said the travellers could submit their details online between August 15 and 21 to avail the offer. The base fare will be waived off under the ‘RedPass’ offer, but airport fees, charges and taxes would have to be borne by the personnel. TNS
