Arya and I have been inseparable, but during my Covid-19 treatment, I had no option but to leave her at home. But when I returned, she slept by my side and did not leave me alone. Animals too need utmost care, love and affection, just like humans.

Raise awareness

Dhruvee Haldankar

I am a proud parent of Aslaan, my cat. This day is a wonderful reminder of different ways in which animals make our lives beautiful.

Ecological well-being

Subuhii Joshii

Majnu, my dog, is my life! Every worm, every insect, every animal is working for the ecological well-being of the planet. Only we humans, who claim to be the most intelligent species here, are not doing that!

Welfare first

Rishina Kandhari

I have a cat with me. I have plans of opening animal rescue shelters and an organisation for raising funds.

Let us contribute

Aashish Mehrotra

The love of animals is unbiased. I did my bit by feeding stray cats and dogs during the lockdown. We all should contribute towards animal welfare.

Be sensitive

Sambhavna Seth

People often see me meditating with Candy, Coco and Cherry, my furry babies and doubt my sanity, but animals too have mental health issues. Animals cannot express themselves as openly as humans; therefore, we need to be sensitive to their emotional and mental needs.

Stricter laws

Nirbhay Wadhwa

I ensure routine check-ups and a healthy diet for my pet Thor. We need to be sensitive to all forms of animals and species around us. It pains me to see when people discriminate and treat animals inhumanly, which needs to stop, and the laws need to be stricter.

Keep them safe

Tanvi Dogra

I love my baby Oscar, and I can go to any extent to see him happy. But what hurts me is the fact that there are so many strays who need a safe place, care, and affection, but are often neglected. Animals too are living beings, and their welfare is paramount.
