Great patriots and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation are our national treasures. From the time of Independence until today, our brave soldiers have upheld the pride and honour of India. The nation will continue to draw inspiration from the selfless sacrifices of these valiant warriors, who stand ever-ready to serve the country.”

Aarti Singh Rao described Rao Tula Ram as “a symbol of pride not only for the region but for the entire country. By following the path shown by such great personalities, both the central and state governments are committed to development and public service. It is a matter of great pride that just as our freedom fighters contributed to India’s independence, today our soldiers continue to play a vital role in preserving that freedom. Every tenth soldier in the Indian armed forces hails from Haryana, with Rewari district contributing the highest number of servicemen.”
