Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian carried out a surprise inspection at Sahnewal sub-tehsil today and sought the support of the public in eliminating any and every sort of corruption from the office.
During the visit to the Sahnewal sub-tehsil office and seva kendra, Mundian informed the public that the government had established an anti-corruption action helpline for reporting incidents of corruption. He said at no cost would the corrupt be spared and strict action shall be taken against those found guilty.
The government is making significant efforts to improve the functioning of various departments and their operations to ensure that people face no difficulties in accessing administrative services, he said, adding that the issues of the past 70 years were being addressed and significant improvements would be visible in due course of time.
During the visit, Mundian also interacted with employees and people present at the sub-tehsil office and seva kendra, gathering information about the administrative services provided by the government. He assured them of the government’s complete support and assistance in every form.
