Resolution urges govt to ensure fair probe into FIR against IPS officer
Finally, after three days, the Haryana IAS Officers’ Association today expressed deep sorrow at the tragic death of IPS officer Puran Kumar. The Haryana IPS Officers' Association also held a meeting and offered condolences.

In a resolution, the IAS officers’ association said his integrity and commitment to public service will be remembered with respect and expressed solidarity with his family. They urged the government and Chandigarh Administration to address the issues raised by his wife, IAS officer Amneet P Kumar, with utmost seriousness.
The resolution said the FIR registered against Puran Kumar must be investigated in a fair manner, and urged the government to provide protection, legal assistance, institutional support, and other aid to his wife.
A delegation of IPS officers also visited the residence of Amneet P Kumar.
