Following this, police teams led by Inspector Amandeep Singh arrived at the spot and found a man standing near a Dargah. Upon searching him, the police recovered five packets containing around 5kg heroin from him, the SSP added.

The entire incident was videographed. The contraband is believed to have been smuggled with the help of a hexacopter drone assembled in Pakistan. In another instance, after receiving information regarding a large drone falling in paddy fields in Manjh village, police teams searched the area and found a hexacopter with 5kg narcotics.
