Two persons were killed while around 20 persons were injured when a goods carrier they were travelling on went out of control and met with an accident.
The victims were going to work in fields. They were going Rupowali village from Kathunangal, when the incident took place near a brick kiln. The vehicle was being driven by Kashmir Singh of Dudhala village.
The deceased were identified as Sarjivan and Satinder Singh of Karnala village. The injured were rushed to Majitha Civil Hospital. Five of them were stated to be serious and they were referred to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. The police have registered a case.
