2 drones shot down at Indo-Pak border
The Border Security Force (BSF) has knocked down two more drones from Amritsar border belt on Saturday. During foggy season, there has been an uptick in drone intrusion at the Indo-Pak border.,
A DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone was recovered from ahead of barbed border fence from a farming field at Mahawa border village while another similar drone with 570gm heroin was found from Daoke village located near the International border.
According to the BSF, both the drones were crashed down after the activation of technical counter measures.
The BSF had recovered over 230 drones at Punjab frontier till now and the number of likely to swell in the coming days. The majority of seizures were made from Amritsar and Tarn Taran border belt.
