2 GNDU students offered Rs 18L salary package

Multinational companies are hiring students in big numbers from Guru Nanak Dev University. As many as 754 students from various departments have been placed in many MNCs even before the completion of their formal studies. These students will join their jobs in August 2021 after passing out their respective courses in July, 2021. Multinational brands such as TCS, Capgemini, KPMG, Nagarro, Amdocs, Swiggy, Amazon, Josh Technology, Jaro Education, Indiamart, Coforge and many others have recruited students from the university. The highest pay package offered to the IT background students is Rs 18 Lakh per annum and average pay package is Rs 6.06 Lakh per annum.

Bharat Nishchal, a B Tech student of the CSE branch got placed in Swiggy at the highest pay package of Rs 18 Lakh per annum. Another student Harman Deep Singh from B Tech, CSE, got a job offer of Rs 18 lakh per annum from Amazon. Companies such as TCS selected 105 students, Capgemini 82, Grazitti Interactive 32, Nagarro 16 and Amdocs selected 13 students from the university. Students from B Tech. CSE, B Tech. ECE, MCA and M Tech. CSE courses participated in these online campus placement drives. The students who participated are from the main campus as well as the regional campuses of Jalandhar and Gurdaspur.
